Olympus metallographic microscopeThe GX71 model is a research grade inverted microscope equipped with the latest universal infinity UIS 2 optical system, providing the best and sharpest imaging quality. It can obtain high-resolution and high contrast images for bright field, dark field, differential interference, polarization observation, and fluorescence observation. The field of view of 26.5mm provides the widest field of view among similar machines. Rotary light path conversion, easy and convenient to operate.Olympus metallographic microscopeGX71 provides excellent optical performance, innovative technology, comprehensive functionality, powerful scalability, and easy operation for materials science research. For digital applications, up to 3 optical path exits are provided, and accessories such as electric platforms and electric optical path switching can be equipped to provide a complete solution for automated detection and analysis.
● Professional research grade inverted metallographic microscope
● Convenient conversion of bright field, dark field, polarization, differential interference, and fluorescence using a rotary optical path conversion
● Built in 1-2x intermediate magnification system
Multiple light path exits, easy to connect to large format, 135 camera, digital imaging systems, image analysis systems, etc
Improved optical path design for the highest quality images
The GX series inverted metallographic microscope adopts an infinite optical system (UIS), which enables high contrast and high-definition images to be obtained in any observation mode. Equipped with a built-in 12V100W halogen bulb and an improved spotlight system, it can meet the high-intensity light source requirements of any contemporary sample.
Olympus metallographic microscopeGX71 can easily perform bright field observation, dark field observation, differential interference observation, simple polarized light observation, and fluorescence (U-G excitation) observation by switching the gimbal.
Electrification improves research and inspection efficiency
The electric objective lens converter can switch the objective lens, the electric pan tilt (mirror unit) can switch various observation methods from bright field to fluorescence observation, and the electric filter converter can switch the lighting by a nearby manual switch and computer. These specialties further enhance operability and facilitate centralized observation. Electric units can be freely combined as needed.
Computer control requires the use of image analysis software "analySIS FIVE".
The control devices are all located at the front to ensure ease of operation
By simplifying the most commonly used buttons and switch devices, the convenience of operation can be improved to enhance the comfort of operators. The light intensity adjustment knob, focusing device, etc. are all placed in the most convenient position to ensure easy operation for the three operators.
Free conversion of multiple observation methods from bright field to fluorescence
The unique spectroscope wheel allows for quick and easy conversion between bright field, dark field, differential interference, 3-light, fluorescence and other observation methods. Olympus' universal objective lens can be used for various observation methods without the need for replacement depending on the observation method.
The GX71 uses an ultra wide field eyepiece (F.N.26.5), providing the world's largest field of view diameter.
Built in intermediate zoom system(1~2x)Present more details of the image
The GX71 has a built-in intermediate zoom system that can freely convert between 1x and 2x, allowing for clearer presentation of image details from multiple light path exits of the microscope.
